Geographic Coverage

計畫包含四條樣線及三個樣點。崩塌區、農墾區、堰塞湖區及溢洪區等 4 條穿越線,除堰塞湖區約1.5 km 外,其餘每條約1 km;另選擇七號觀景台、石門觀景台及堰塞湖停車場等3 處,進行夜間點燈調查,其中石門觀景台為雨天備案。

Sampling Methods

主要以穿越線調查法、三角形聽音辨位法、植群群落掃網法、燈光誘集法等為主,另外以捕抓辨識法及影像紀錄等方法輔助,並記錄陸域環境相關因子,以利探討昆蟲發生期與環境因子的關係,各類別監測方法參考Pollard and Yates (1993)、楊正澤及蔡尚惪(2004)及唐立正(2003)的研究,監測時間則視昆蟲習性於白天或夜晚進行。經採集之昆蟲,以數位相機拍照建檔,攜回研究室製成標本,進行保存。

Study Extent 本計畫調查四大類昆蟲,分別包含螢火蟲類的黑翅螢(Abscondita cerata)、鳴蟲類的小蟪蛄(Platypleura takasagona)、趨光性甲蟲類的獨角仙(Allomyrina dichotoma tunobosonis) 及蝴蝶類的琉璃紋鳳蝶(Papilio hermosanus)等。

Method step description:

  1. 蝴蝶調查選用穿越線調查法做為監測蝴蝶族群變動的主要方法,參考國際上蝴蝶調查常用方法Pollard and Yates(1993),穿越線以選擇穿越多樣的棲地為最佳,進行蝶類監測時,在穿越線左右各寬2.5 m、上方高5 m、目視前方長5 m 的範圍,緩步前進並目視記錄沿途所見之蝴蝶,採用符合安全、快速、簡單和能長期提供調查地區所有種類族群數量的估計方式。另外以捕抓辨識法及影像記錄等調查方法輔助。
  2. 螢火蟲主要為夜間活動的昆蟲,可於夜間目視觀察遠處的光點,據此特性參考蝶類穿越線調查法,目視記錄沿途所見之光點,不確定種類以捕蟲網捕撈後進一步確認。其中少數種類發光器退化,活動型態轉為日行性或日夜行性等兩類,設置飛行攔截網進行調查。
  3. 直翅目的調查方法參考楊正澤及蔡尚惪(2004)如下所述:以三角形聽音辨位法進行調查,主要以人耳辨識聲音,當發現聲音時,以左手掌遮住左耳,右手掌併攏且略微彎曲靠於右外耳後緣,以平角自身體右側(0°)逐漸轉向左側(180°)搜尋(或由左至右),待確認聲音所在之方位角後,再以垂直之仰、平、俯角確定聲音來源,由於最後辨位與聲源之角度和距離概略成三角形,故稱之三角形聽音辨位法,此法可用於野外聲音搜尋、解說教育或調查之應用。
  4. 蟬類為棲息於土中吸食樹根之昆蟲,因此在樹林中尋著鳴聲即可發現牠們的蹤影。由於蟬類的翅膀為透明,且其身體的顏色往往與樹幹的顏色相同,若不熟練常常聽到蟬鳴卻看不到蟬的所在。一旦發現蟬的所在,就用捕蟲網慢慢伸出,在接近後,從蟬的側方快速地撈起,或由蟬的下方快速地向上撈,讓蟬落入捕蟲網中,捉到的蟬必須放入毒瓶中殺死後取出包好帶回研究室做成標本。另外老熟若蟲常常在傍晚及夜晚時分由土中爬出停在樹木低處等待脫殼羽化,因此,可在此時到林中找尋,帶回室內置於養蟲箱中觀察其羽化過程。蟬類對燈具趨光性,所以在夜晚巡視位於林中或靠近森林附近之路燈,也可以發現各種蟬停留在附近(唐2003)。
  5. 利用昆蟲趨光的特性,於夜間架設燈具誘集趨光性個體,採集標本或利用拍照記錄等方式確認種類。燈具主要配件規格如下,發電機為HONDA EU10i,燈泡使用H400 清光型400W 水銀燈,安定器使用HG-400-120H-P-BC 型。
