Description

The data arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi in root and soil of Calocedrus formosana, Cunninghamia konishii, Taiwania cryptomerioides, Chamaecyparis taiwanensis, Juniperus formosana , and Juniperus morrisonicola in Taiwan. This study was sampled from northern, central, and southern Taiwan.

Data Records

The data in this occurrence resource has been published as a Darwin Core Archive (DwC-A), which is a standardized format for sharing biodiversity data as a set of one or more data tables. The core data table contains 1,132 records.

This IPT archives the data and thus serves as the data repository. The data and resource metadata are available for download in the downloads section. The versions table lists other versions of the resource that have been made publicly available and allows tracking changes made to the resource over time.

Versions

The table below shows only published versions of the resource that are publicly accessible.

Title The diversity and community assembly of arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi of six cypresses in Taiwan
Identifier 109-2621-B-029-002-

The personnel involved in the project:

Pi-Han Wang

Sampling Methods

We sampled the roots and bulk soil in 4 directions from 6 randomly chosen target plants at least 10 meters intervals.

Study Extent Alishan, CILAN, DaSyueShan, Zhudong, HehuanShan, Lienhuachi, Xueshan, Yuanshan and Yushan

Method step description:

  1. 1. Plant roots from the 10 cm layer of the soil were collected by tracing them from the stem of the plant. 2. The bulk soil was collected 2 meters away from the target plant. 3. Samples were placed in polyethylene bags in the laboratory.
