The arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi data of Chamaecyparis formosensis forest in Taiwan.This study was conducted at C. formosensis forest sample sites at three altitudes including 1,500 m, 2,000 m and 2,500 m in Guanwu, Dasyueshan and Alishan.

Sampling Methods

token the roots and rhizosphere soil in 4 directions from 6 randomly choosed 6 Chamaecyparis formosensis which at least 3 meters intervals.

Study Extent Alishan, Dasyueshan and Guanwu

Method step description:

  1. fine roots from the 10-20 cm layer of the soil were collected by tracing them from the stem of the plant.
  2. Samples were placed in polyethylene bags to the laboratory.
  3. Brushed the soil from the fine roots as rhizosphere soil sample.
