說明

An intensive sampling experiment was carried out at three stations in the Tamsui Estuary, northern Taiwan, during June and July 2012, with time intervals varying by hour, diurnal phase, and sampling date. A total of 5,302 larval fish were collected. With the aid of DNA barcoding based on morphology, there were 131 taxa identified, belonging to 52 families, 91 genera, and 78 species.

Ichthyoplankton net with 90 cm in diameter, 180 cm in length and 330 μm in mesh size

方法步驟描述:

  1. Ichthyoplankton nets were towed for 10 min at a boat speed of 2 knots. Zooplanktons including larval fish were sacrificed immediately by preserving in 95% ethanol for subsequent morphological identification and DNA barcoding.
