収集方法

Samples of the Pteris fauriei group were collected from Eastern Asia, from Japan, Taiwan, China, Vietnam, to Malaysia. Voucher specimens were mainly deposited at the herbarium of the Taiwan Forestry Research Institute (TAIF).

Study Extent Pteris fauriei group (Pteridaceae) occurs widely in Eastern Asia. More than 15 species with similar morphology and limited genetic variation are supposed to be involved in hybridization.

Method step description:

  1. Samples were analyzed for cpDNA and nrDNA phylogenies of the P. fauriei group and then inferred the reticulate pattern.
