The Database of Native Plants in Taiwan is a comprehensive database of the vascular plants of Taiwan (including outlying islands) and eastern Asia. It consists of three databases: Specimen Database, Image Database and Distribution Database. The collection focuses on Asteraceae, Begoniaceae, Commelinaceae, Lysimachia (Primulaceae), Asarum (Aristolochiaceae), Amorphophallus (Araceae), Orchidaceae, Rubiaceae, Parthenocissus (Euphorbiaceae), Theaceae and ferns. The work is funded by Taiwan e-Learning and Digital Archives Program (TELDAP).
IMPORTANT NOTICE: This version of the dataset is now deprecated and is no longer being updated. The data has been migrated to a new record to ensure better data quality and more frequent updates.
